Officers

This is a list of student-held positions in the Union. Most positions are elected.

Exec Officers

The Executive Officers and Team are elected, full-time positions, held by students taking a year out from studying to work for the Students' Association.

Part-time Exec Officers

Representation Officers

Representation Officers are part-time leaders of the Union who represent students internally, to the University, and to the wider community. Many officers chair a Representation Network as part of their role.

School Presidents

School Presidents lead on academic representation in their Schools and Departments, chair staff-student meetings, and oversee Class and School Representatives.

Modern Languages Department Presidents

Like School Presidents, Modern Languages Department Presidents lead on academic representation in their Departments, chair staff-student meetings, and oversee class and school representatives. The Department Presidents are overseen by the School President of Modern Languages.

Officer Email Signatures

Officers should use this email signature on all outgoing emails.

• Follow Microsoft's instructions to set up an email signature in Outlook.
• Copy and paste our template email signature into the Outlook signature settings, and remember to insert your name, pronouns (such as he/him, she/her, they/them, or remove that section if you'd prefer not to share them), and job title.
• Some additional information may be added such as specific signposting or confidentiality so feel free to add additional text if it is truly required.
