About the School President role
Hello everyone! I’m Donald, I’m in Senior Honours of the 5-year MMath Mathematics programme, and I’m President of the School of Mathematics and Statistics. If you’re looking for me, you’ll probably find me helping out somewhere, whether that be through tutoring and mentoring, voluntary roles, committees or as a member of the Principal Ambassador Team.
As your elected President, I’m here to represent the evolving voice of 1300 students and to bridge the staff-student gap in an approachable, amicable and mutually beneficial way. In order to represent you effectively I need you to share your views, concerns and thoughts with me.
