About the role
About the Language Convenor role
My name is Mimi Taylor, and I’m so excited to be the new 2021-2022 Spanish Convenor. I’ve been taking Spanish for almost eight years now, and I’m looking forward to starting this position at St. Andrews.
A little about me, I’m an avid golfer, but I also love other sports like basketball and a good game of table tennis. I’m also in the William and Mary Joint Degree Program, so I’ll be attending both universities over the span of four years.
Regarding my time as Spanish Convenor, I mainly hope to connect the Hispanic Society and the Spanish Department further to make sure everyone gets the most out of the Spanish language during their time at St. Andrews. I will also be working to connect with other language convenors to throw fun events that encompass many different and amazing cultures!
