About me
Hello fellow Art Historians, I am Haomin Li, your School President for 2021/22. I am in my fourth year at St Andrews, studying Single-Honours Art History. In the history of art, I am particularly interested in Florentine art of the 15th and 16th Centuries as well as French Classicism and Neoclassicism.
During my presidency, I will endeavour to build a close-knit, intellectual community by rejuvenating the School as a social space; I will, to the very best of my ability, speak up for the growing East Asian community within the School; last but not least, I will strive to be as accessible and approachable as I can in order to best represent all Art Historians here at St Andrews, your opinions, and your interests.
With regard to the pandemic, I plan to cautiously start bringing back in-person events, following up-to-date Scottish Government and University COVID-19 guidance and regulations. Please feel free to email me at ArtHistoryPresident@ to voice any suggestions, questions, or concerns you may have!
