About me
Hi! I'm Caitlin, a fourth-year joint honours Comparative Literature and English student from Edinburgh. I'm particularly interested in modern and contemporary literature, literary theory, and poetry. Out of the books that I have read recently, my favourite has been Maggie Nelson's The Argonauts. Outside of academics, I'm also involved in student theatre in St Andrews, both on stage and behind the scenes. I'm really looking forward to being your School of English President this year. My election campaign focused on clearer dissertation guidance, stronger student/staff relationships, and the cultivation of a community atmosphere within the School of English. In my experience, English is a lovely school to be a student in, and I want to make sure you feel the same!
