Advocacy
We employ a full-time Education Advocate to support and give advice to students who are:
- Facing disciplinary proceedings from the University
- Making an academic appeal
- Facing termination of studies
- Concerned that work has been unfairly graded

Camera hire
The following cameras are available to borrow from the Union and affiliated groups.
Include the dates and reason for hire whenever asking to borrow equipment. Include your society name if applicable.

These affiliated groups can lend equipment to students.

Contraception
We can provide free condoms, lube, and attack alarms to students. See Support for more info.
Parcels
If you need to order something online but often miss parcels due to lectures, you can get parcels delivered to the Union instead. Make sure your University username is included on the delivery label, so we can email you once a parcel arrives.
We have limited storage, so please only use this service when necessary.
Printing
We have a UniPrint printer/scanner, capable of A3 colour printing on our top floor. See UniPrint to get set up.
We offer specialist and high-quantity printing, and aim to print items within 5 working days after artwork has been approved (except for clothing).
Before sending us any artwork, ensure it is in PDF format, with CMYK colour and high resolution.
Contact SAdesign@ if you need help designing an item. Note that we charge a £10 design fee for this service.
Tickets
Send your ticket design and quantity needed to SAdesign@, and we will respond with a quote.
You should use our ticket template to make your design.

Wristbands
We offer generic Union wristbands for 25p each. This option is fast, as we already have these wristbands in stock. For events within the Union, this can be on a sale-or-return basis.
Alternatively, send a design and quantity (min. 50) to SAdesign@ and we will respond with a printing quote.
Four types of wristband are available. You should use your preferred template to make the design:
Tyvek (tough, unrippable paper; only available with black print)
Chroma (similar to Tyvek; tamper and tear resistant)
Vinyl A
Vinyl B
Posters
Red gown buy-back
If your gown is in good condition, the University Shop will buy it back in exchange for a £40 gift voucher to spend in their store. They only offer this service between April-September.
