36.25 normally Monday to Friday, 8.45am - 5.00pm.

Working in a small team in our busy reception area, you’ll respond to inquiries from students, staff and members of the public. You’ll also manage room bookings, offer administrative support to the Management Team, manage our contact email account, log lost property, and help to manage our room bookings for societies and subcommittees.

Description of Specific Duties:

  • Staff reception desk as required, providing a consistent high standard of service in response to inquiries from students, university staff and the general public in person, via email or by telephone.
  • Using our specialist room booking software, operate and manage room bookings, scheduling meetings for staff and student groups and others as required. Liaise with building staff and others to ensure requirements are met.
  • Manage various Students’ Association contact email accounts, responding to or forwarding queries, organising folders and ensuring good practice is adhered to.
  • Assist the Management Team in general administration duties as required.
  • Provide general information about the Association and University for students, staff and visitors
  • Managing and logging lost property using established systems for this purpose.
  • Manage diaries and make appointments for Association staff and sabbatical officers.
  • Manage incoming mail.
