You will work primarily in a front of house role alongside our Café team, serving a variety of hot and cold food and beverages across both Rectors Café in our main building and the Old Union Coffee Shop on North Street.

- We are looking for staff to work 2 to 3 shifts per week and the amount of hours can vary depending on your availability and shifts available. A rough guide would be anything from 8hrs to a max of 20hrs per week.
Our offering straddles two café sites and food provision from our Main Bar. We also deliver a number of external catering events throughout the year and support the local community out with term time.
Supervised directly by the Head Chef/Kitchen Manager, you will be a key part of the Catering team. You will be responsible for delivering a high class, value for money offering to our customers.

Cleaning of designated areas, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying of bins and recycle bins, cleaning toilets, glass and vacuuming. Performing general cleaning duties in commercial and non-commercial areas in the Union building e.g. cleaning floors, surfaces and toilets.
Whilst experience is useful, it is not essential, as we'll give you the training you need: much more important is that you're reliable, keen, willing to learn, and have an eye for detail.

- 7-9am Mon - Fri, 8-11am Sat & Sun, Rectors 7-9pm/6-8pm weekends.

Student Engagement interns support the Student Engagement team as well as the Executive Officers with various projects and events like Freshers and Refreshers fayres, elections, volunteering, employability, wellbeing and community, union affairs and academic representation.
