Meet people, do stuff.
Protocol Magazine

Student human rights magazine.

Protocol Magazine is a student-run publication based at the University of St Andrews. At first an independent initiative, Protocol became affiliated with the Students' Association in 2018.

By providing high-quality analysis, commentary, and review, we strive to promote awareness and encourage an all-encompassing study of human rights issues. We do not pretend that there is a single, comprehensive definition or understanding of human rights, but instead aim to propagate a diversity of interpretations.

We hope that our audience will not just read our articles, but also engage with them. Join our discussion series, where we more deeply examine the topics we cover. Debate pressing and controversial issues with your friends and fellow students. Become involved with campaigning, fundraising, or volunteering. We hope that our passion will inspire you to do what you can to make our world a better place.

We post new articles weekly. Read them at protocolmag.com.
