Meet people, do stuff.

We are a branch of a national organisation promoting the need for greater nutrition and lifestyle medicine education. Join us for good food, sunrise swims and fascinating speakers! Open to all :)

"Nutritank" is a national nutrition and lifestyle medicine think tank, set up by medical students and backed by experts such as Dr Hazel Wallace, Dr Ragnan Chattarjee and Jaimie Oliver. The St Andrews branch is an active society with previous events including healthy cooking courses, sunrise swims, breakfast on the beach and many guest speakers (notably Dr Giles Yeo, Dr Zarrin Shaikh from "The fresh heart project" and Ronald Maughan, who was the chairman of the nutrition group of the international olympic commmittee). We are open to anyone with an interest in learning more about lifestyle medicine e.g. nutrition, physical activity, mindfulness, sleep, self-care, and especially encourage medical students to join for both their own benefit  and for their future patients. The online community will connect you with like-minded people to implement changes to better the health and wellbeing of our communities. Hungry for more? Sign up for emails, follow our instagram and join our facebook group!
