President of Union Affairs By-election

President of Union Affairs 

The President of Union Affairs will work closely with the Association Executive and Union staff to ensure the future of the Students' Association aligns with student needs.  

The role will involve representing student opinions in decision-making, overseeing the sustainability of the Union, and collaborating with the University to ensure student voices are heard.  

Key responsibilities include: 

·       Lead the development of commercial services 

·       Oversee the Union's democratic functions 

·       Chair the Association Executive 

·       Serve on various committees within the University 

·       Meet regularly with University leadership 

·       Support the implementation of Union policies  

·       Act as an ambassador for the student community 

·       Communicate with the student membership 

·       Act as an Officer Trustee to the Students' Association Board  

Prior to taking office, you will have the opportunity to shadow the current officer team, and a full induction will be provided. 

This full-time, fixed-term position starts on 1st July 2025 

Salary: £25,448
