We are currently recruiting casual staff for various roles across all of our operations. Some of these vacancies are available immediately and others with a start date of September.
All roles will be paid at a rate from £12.21 per hour upwards. Please contact [email protected] if you have any specific questions.

STUDENT ENGAGEMENT TEAM - INTERNS (SEVERAL ROLES AVAILABLE)
There will be variable working hours to reflect the changing demands on student representatives across the academic year. An average of 5-12 hours per week can be expected. Examples of the types of positions available are:
- Academic Rep (PG) - Applications open around August / September
- Election Interns (Director of Student Engagement)
- Communications Intern – Focus on weekly email (this will be either through Design and Marketing or Student Engagement)

CASUAL BAR/EVENT STAFF
Late evening or occasional work
Providing high-quality customer service in our busy bars, within the Association and/or at outside events, you will be part of an award-winning team serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and food. Training in responsible alcohol service will be given.

Your duties will include the sale & preparation of food & drinks, associated restocking, collecting & washing of glassware, as well as bar-related cleaning/housekeeping. You may also be involved with the running of our cloakroom & hosting our karaoke nights. We provide bars throughout the year for external events, and you may be involved with the setup or takedown of these events.
CLEANERS (recruiting for session 2025/26)
Early morning, early evening and weekend shifts
Performing general cleaning duties in commercial and non-commercial areas. Morning work will involve early shifts, starting from 7am (8am on weekends). Full training will be given.
CUSTOMER SAFETY TEAM
Late evening shifts
You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our members and staff, while also dealing with general customer service issues. SIA training and registration is an advantage for these roles but training will be given.
