***Sunday Sessions - Free***
UNION NORTH IS A CASH ONLY SITE.
We know how tough it’s been recently so for the first weekend it’s on us! The Can Do Initiative and the Students’ Association are footing the bill for the whole weekend!!
Sunday Sessions brings an array of the finest new, musical talent Scotland has to offer.
We’ll have the Annie Mac of Scotland, Phoebe Inglis-Holmes (BBC introducing /Vixen Sound) as our DJ and compere for the day. Phoebe is not only a broadcaster but also a writer, DJ, & record label coadjutor. Phoebe's no-stone-unturned attitude to new music has led her to host shows on BBC Radio 6music; BBC Radio 1. She said this of the line up, ‘This line up is absolutely insane and represents 3 of Scotland’s brightest new hopes. I can’t wait to be there.’
The line up will include the amazing sounds of singer songwriter Lizze Reid, piano led alternative pop Ali & The Parade and unofficial headliners Dead Pony. The band, fronted by the inimitable Anna Shields, will make a return to campus after their notorious performance in the Union pre covid.
We’ll also have FRANCO, regarded as one of the best covers / party band in the land. These guys will play out the Sunday with everything from Red Hot Chilli Peppers and The Killers to One Republic & Bruno Mars.
This line up will have something for everyone. So, get down and grab a drink and some food from our food vendors Screaming Peacock or Smoked Thistle and watch the musical talent unfold.
