Dear Postgraduate Student,
The Provost and the Postgraduate Society are delighted to invite you to this year's St Leonard’s Dinner taking place on Friday, 20 October.
The evening will consist of a wine reception followed by a three-course meal in Lower College Hall. The aim is to bring together staff and postgraduate students in the spirit of collegiality, for an affordable meal generously subsidised by the Provost’s Office. It will be a chance to mingle with students and staff from other faculties, away from the classroom.
The dinner will take place on Friday, 20 October, at 6.00 pm for a wine reception in Upper College Hall, 6.30 pm dinner in Lower College Hall. The price will be just £25 for students, and we would be delighted if you would be able to join us. Tickets can be purchased from the Students' Association website here:
The menu is as follows:
Starter: Roast red pepper & plum tomato soup with basil oil (v)
Main: Breast of corn-fed chicken marinated in lemon & thyme, fondant potato – chicken jus
Alternative option: Root Vegetable Boulanger, anster gratin, balsamic glaze (v)
Dessert: Sticky toffee pudding

The dress code of the event is black tie, academic gowns are very much welcomed and encouraged.
