Asalamualaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu! May the peace, mercy and blessings of Allah be upon you!
STAMSA (St Andrews Muslim Student Association) would like to warmly welcome you to campus, whether you’re a fresher, returning student, postgrad, or even just a member of the St Andrews community. Moving to a new town can be a scary experience, but we hope to help you make your time here an unforgettable and valuable experience. The beauty of the university community is the diversity found on campus, with many people from different countries, lifestyles, backgrounds, and systems of belief. STAMSA aims to represent and help all of these people, whilst maintaining Islamic values of fairness, equality, and humbleness.
The STAMSA calendar is always packed, with our weekly study circles, Jumuah (Friday prayers), religious holiday celebrations, knowledge circles, iftaars, potlucks, Charity Week events, Discover Islam Week, and our annual Feminism in Islam conference, there’s always something to do to keep you busy, meet new people, and give back to the university community.
