The BMA is your opportunity to make your voice heard on a national level as a medical student at St Andrews.

We are the local university branch of the trade union and professional association for all medical students and doctors throughout the UK.

We represent medical students at St Andrews at both Scotland and UK level – and you can get involved by joining the BMA Society at St Andrews.

As well as keeping you informed with all of the latest medico-political developments that impact your life as a medical student and future doctor, we organise a range of events relevant to our local members.

We also help give members the opportunity to attend national BMA events throughout the UK, involve you in our local policy forums to help shape the experience for other students at your medical school, and support you should you want to get involved at a national level and get elected.

Membership of the BMA Society is open to all students at St Andrews but is free if you're a registered member of the BMA nationally.
