St Andrews Takes on the Fringe!
The Edinburgh Festival Fringe has officially begun – and St Andrews is out in full force!
This year marks a bold new chapter for Mermaids at the Fringe, with the relaunch of our brand, a fresh logo, and a unified identity that puts St Andrews student theatre centre stage. Under this new banner, three exciting productions will each take a week-long slot in the world’s biggest arts festival – and tickets are flying!
🎟️ Catch the Mermaids at the Fringe line-up:
-
A Murder in Motley (Week 1)
A dastardly whodunnit set in the world of commedia dell'arte – expect murder, mischief, and masks.
-
Soul-Sucking (Week 2)
A supernatural comedy about what happens when your corporate job literally drains the life out of you.
-
If You Don’t Laugh (Week 3)
A new dark comedy about comedy itself – expect meta mayhem and punchlines with bite.
In addition to our Mermaids programme, we’re proud to shout out an incredible range of St Andrews-affiliated shows taking the stage at the Fringe this summer. From student-written plays and musical revivals to sketch comedy and improv, there’s something for everyone:
