Allergens: gluten (alternative available, but cannot guarantee no contamination)

Make sure to bring a container to store your treats! And a hair tie if you have long hair

This event has a limited sign up of 15 people, tickets must be bought beforehand and we do not accept walk ins on the day.

Mini Apple Crumble Recipe

Yield: 12 mini apple crumbles| Prep time: ~35mins | Bake time: 35mins

 

Ingredients:

Filling:

  • ~250g bramely apple
  • 2 tbsp caster sugar

Crumble:

  • 175g plain flour
  • 110g caster sugar
  • 110g cold butter

 

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 190 C (170 C fan)
  2. Toss the diced apples with 2tbsp caster sugar and cinnamon(optional)
  3. Put the filling into the cupcake liners and flatten to prevent to much crumble from falling through.
  4. Put 175g plain flour and 110g caster sugar into a bowl with a pinch of salt.
  5. Slice 110g cold butter into the bowl with the flour mixture and rub it in with your fingertips until the mixture looks like moist breadcrumbs.
  6. Pour the crumb mix over the apple and use a fork to even it out and flatten lightly.
  7. Place in the oven for 35mins, until the top is golden and the apples feel soft when inserting a knife.
