A Night with the Bands

The Music Society’s Big Band and Wind Band are excited to present this semesters concert, ‘A Night With The Bands’, featuring a range of styles and genres from film popular music to classic swing. Wind Band will perform a varied set of pieces from the “Girly pop” hits of Chappell Roan to traditional Scottish Folk and many other band favourites. The Big Band presents a diverse setlist, ranging from classic swing tunes to debut arrangements by band members! Having previously featured songs such as Linus and Lucy and Norwegian Wood, the core band comprises of around 20 of St Andrews finest jazz musicians, with a repertoire especially chosen to play to the band's strengths.
