Executive Officers

The Executive Officers are elected, full-time positions on the Exec Team, held by students taking a year out from studying to work for the Students' Association.

Athletic Union President Amy leads and represents student sport.
President of Union Affairs Alice amplifies your voice, improves Union services, and supports leaders to drive meaningful student change.
President of Wellbeing & Community Alex champions student health, diversity, and inclusion.
President of Education Emily represents you when campaigning for improvements to academics.
President of Student Opportunities RoMo supports students with activities & development outside of their studies.

Part-Time Executive Officers

The Part-time Executive Officers are elected positions on the Exec Team, held by students who support the Students' Association alongside other important work.

Your Union Executive Team

The Union Executive (or Exec, for short) is the core leadership group responsible for making sure student voice and policy decisions are put into action. We act as the executive body of the Student Representative Council (SRC), helping shape strategy, propose new ideas, and lead on key areas of student life.

Together, we:

Oversee how policy from the SRC and referenda gets implemented
Propose new policies and big-picture changes for the SRC to debate
Take the lead on democratic governance across the Union
Work with and between the Forums to support collaboration and resolve disputes
Represent student views at University-level committees and ensure your voice is heard
Help shape the Union’s strategic direction and services
Lead the charge on areas like education, wellbeing, opportunities, and postgrad representation

The Exec is made up of your four full-time officers and two part-time postgrad presidents. We're accountable to students, to the SRC, and to the Students’ Association Board – and most importantly, we’re here to make things better for you.

We meet fortnightly, and you can always reach out if you’ve got something you want us to discuss.

Submit a motion

If there's an issue you think the Exec Team should address or support, you can submit a motion.

Any officer of the Union may submit a motion to an agenda. See Exec Team Paper Template.

You can submit motions to [email protected]. The deadline for motions is 9:00 the Monday before the meeting.
