Director of Wellbeing (DoWell), in charge of: Welfare, Equal Opportunities, Saints LGBT+, Democracy, Stand Together
Hi! I'm Nick Farrer, and I'm your Students' Association Director of Wellbeing for the 2018/19 year. I'm your main student representative to the University when it comes to wellbeing and equality matters. My full portfolio within the Students' Association covers wellbeing and welfare, equal opportunities and diversity, safety, security, health (menatl, physical, sexual), and interfaith matters. I serve as chair of the Union's Wellbeing and Equal Opportunities subcommittees.
Over my four years as an undergraduate I was lucky to be involved in some of our fantastic student groups working in the areas of support and mental health, including StAnd Together and Nightline, which led me to where I am now. St Andrews is a wonderful place, but being here isn't always easy, so I'm here to do everything I can to help your student experience be inclusive, supportive, and positive. The Students Association is here for the times which are tough as well as the times that are easy.
I'm here to represent you, so please feel welcome to get in touch with me anytime by sending an email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or dropping into my office on the first floor of the Union.
