This Executive will meet for one afternoon ech month to provide the strategic direction of the Student Opportunities Department.

Membership

Elected Members campaign within the student population to carry their ideas forward within the Union.

Vice-President of Student Opportunities (Employability)

Appointed Members are selected for their attention to detail, financial, and operational skills, allowing for a balance of skill-sets on the executive.

Meeting Dates and Resources

The meetings of the Opportunities Executive happen every two weeks throughout the academic year, except for the Vacation Week.

Semester One

The Opportunities Executive was constituted by a motion of the Union Executive on Friday the 31st of October 2025.

Out-going Representation Officers will hand over to incoming Representation Officers at 0500hrs on Friday the 1st of May 2026.

Attendance

You must submit an absence to the Secretary of the group if you know you are unable to attend that particular meeting. Three unexcused absences will result in disciplinary action.

Deputes are acceptable with prior written permission from the Secretary.
