Saints LGBT+

We are dedicated to providing an open and safe environment for members of the LGBT+ community in St Andrews. Our subcommittee is inclusive of everyone, regardless of sexuality or gender identity.

Our events run regularly throughout the year and  are fully open to anybody who wishes to attend, regardless of gender or sexual orientation.  Our biggest events include Transfest, Queerfest & Drag Walk, Glitterball and Pride. We also run regular wellbeing meetups for different identities (e.g. WLW, MLM, trans/nb)  throughout the semester. We maintain a free Trans Clothing Drive providing clothes, binders, tucking underwear, and more. Since 2020 we have been running a student-led inclusive newspaper, The Gay Saint. You can find the latest edition of TGS on our website.

Each academic year we elect a subcommittee. This collection of students is also dedicated to being available to talk to others and foster a welcoming atmosphere. We are represented on the Student Services Council (SSC) by our elected Association LGBT Officer, who holds the position of President of the subcommittee.
