The Team
The Academic Representation Team is led by the President of Education, who is supported by two Faculty Presidents (Arts and Divinity/Science and Medicine). Together, they organise and support the Education Committee, which is made up of the School and Department Presidents that lead representation in each University subject. Alongside the President of Education are the Postgraduate President (Taught and Research) who help to deliver academic representation, along with other responsibilities, to the postgraduate community.
A visualisation of this structure can be seen below.

Alongside the representative structure are paid, permanent members of staff in the Students' Union who are responsible for the operational delivery of academic representation. In short, they work behind the scenes to ensure key events such as Class Rep Elections, Teaching Awards and the Academic Representation Conference run smoothly.
Most of this work is done by the Academic Representation Coordinator, who is supported by two Academic Representation Interns (Undergraduate/Postgraduate).
