The Students' Association is delighted to announce that Brakes, a wholesale food provider used by the University and Students' Association, recently gave the Campus Larder a FREE restock! Their generosity will support so many students to access the food they need, during the cost of living crisis and difficult winter months.
We'd like to particularly thank Clark from Brakes for his generosity, as well as colleagues from Procurement, RBS, and McIntosh Hall for making this happen. We must also thank our Facilities Manager, Rob, for helping us with the delivery, as well as Tash, our Campus Larder Intern for keeping the Larder running day-to-day!
The Campus Larder provides essential groceries, personal hygiene, and cleaning products to staff and students at the University. It is open during semester time on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday evenings from 5-7pm, and those seeking support can book a slot through All students and staff are welcome to use the Larder, no questions asked.
We are also seeking any stock donations, which can be made by bringing them to the Students' Association building on St Mary's Place directly. We are so grateful for any donations you feel able to give.
