In early November, the Students’ Association researched and published the Cost of Living Guide. This is a comprehensive piece, which we will update to provide you with the most up-to-date information. The Guide covers areas from explaining the crisis, money and benefits, food and drink, and provision for families and carers. Much of the guide focuses on support for students specifically (after all, we are the Students’ Association!) however there is plenty of content which could apply to anyone in the wider community.

We acknowledge that the cost of living crisis is likely to continue for some time, particularly where we are in a state of political uncertainty both nationally and globally. Everyone is experiencing the crisis differently; some people will be cutting back on socialising, while others will be struggling to meet basic needs for themselves and their families.

We hope the Guide will help you find resources to support you at this time. If anyone would like to add to it or provide feedback, please email [email protected].
