In the shadow of mid-century Hollywood glamour, the lives of four artists converge at a quiet lakeside estate in Connecticut. The Seagull unfolds over one stifling summer as their rivalries, love affairs and unfulfilled dreams entwine to expose a desperate search for identity that will touch the lives of everyone in the community, for better or worse.
