As the grand finale of the St Andrews Jazz Festival, join jazz pianist Ben Shankland, the BBC Radio Scotland Young Jazz Musician of the Year 2023, in a unique collaboration with another jazz pianist: the Scottish Album of the Year winner and Mercury Prize nominated Fergus McCreadie. This unmissable duo concert will see two highly accomplished musicians playing on grand pianos facing one another – sharing incredible music special to them, improvising, responding to new ideas and showcasing their capacities to both create and react in the moment.
All profits from the St Andrews Jazz Fest go to Sistema Scotland’s Big Noise programme, which provides high-quality music education to young people within targeted communities.
