Musical Theatre Society Give it a Go: 5pm - 7pm; Large Rehearsal Room - Students Union; A free taster session of the university's Musical Theatre Society - all newcomers welcome!

Wed 9th September

Music Fayre 2026: 10am - 2pm; Laidlaw Music Centre, KY16 9QF; Come along to this year's Music Fayre 10:00-14:00, 09/09/26 to discover music-related groups around St Andrews and Fife, including university affiliated societies and external community groups. Organised by the Music Society.

Improv Give-It-A-Go: noon - 1pm; Small Rehearsal Room (Canada Room) - Students' Association Building; A taster session for the Improv-able Skyrats, St Andrews’ newest improv society! Come along for a chance to see what our general sessions are like, do a bit of fun improv, learn about the society and just generally have some fun and meet new people!

Performing Arts Fayre: 4pm - 6pm; The Byre Theatre; A chance to meet all of the university's performing arts societies and find out how to get involved in theatre!

Thu 10th September

Musical Theatre Society How to Audition Workshop: 10am - 11:30am; Large Rehearsal Room - Students Union; A free workshop to learn about musical theatre auditions in St Andrews - newcomers welcome!

Freshers BBQ: 2pm - 4pm; The Secret Garden, St Mary's Quad; The Freshers BBQ is a great way to meet fellow musicians joining groups in St Andrews, mingle with the current members, including meeting the Committee! Free food!

Meet The Policy Research Institute Committee: 2pm - 4pm; St Mary's Quad; Meet the PRI Committee and Free Donuts!

Performing Arts Societies Bonfire: 8pm - 11pm; East Sands Beach; A free bonfire social for our performing arts societies to meet and mingle in a more relaxed environmment - newcomers welcome!

The Rocky Horror Picture Show - Auditions: 11:30am - 1:30pm; Small Rehearsal Room - Students Union; Initial auditions for our annual lip-synced production of Rocky Horror!

Sun 13th September

Freshers Gurdwara Trip: 10am - 2pm; St Andrews Bus Station; Our Freshers event where we take new and old members to visit Dundee Gurdwara, expect the event to last around 3-4 hours, including travel. We meet at the St Andrews Bus Station to leave at 10:00am sharp, let us know via email if your'e attending!

Welcome Bach Bonfire: 7pm - 11pm; East Sands, more info on our Instagram; A relaxed atmosphere to socialise over a fire and meet new people after Music Society's auditions have passed! Come along to meet more people after the chaos of Freshers Week!
