Synopsis: Set in the suburban home of Agnes and Tobias, a wealthy, middle-aged couple, A Delicate Balance explores the quiet collapse of comfort and order when their longtime friends, Harry and Edna, arrive unannounced, driven from their own home by an unnamed and inexplicable fear. As the guests settle in, the fragile structures of civility, friendship, and emotional survival are put to the test.
