The Golden Ticket will gain you access to all Union events at Union North* AND 8 incredible nights at The Union! It’s the cheapest and easiest way to experience the full Freshers’ Week. Simply pop on your fabric wristband for the week and you’re good to go!

Union North Events (Saturday 4th - Thursday 9th)- There will be a little bit of everything at this outdoor site on the North Haugh. Dj’s, live music and headline acts will be filling the stage. We’ll have food vendors, lots of bars serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, an information station, gin tasting and lots more! There will also be a socially distanced area to make sure everyone feels safe.

Monday - Sounds of Scotland
Tuesday - Twin Atlantic
Wednesday - Sinners
Thursday - Headphone Disco
These events are in partnership with the University's Can Do Initiative
The Union (Saturday 4th - Saturday 11th) - Club 601 will be open from 10:30pm, it’ll host live entertainment every night of Freshers’ Week. Beacon Bar will be serving cocktails, we’ll be pulling lots of pints in Sandy’s Bar and Main Bar will be buzzing. The Piazza is a great outdoor space we’ve created to socialise in and it’ll have live music and food vendors.

All our Freshers’ Week events are for ALL UNIVERSITY STUDENTS. We know a lot of you missed out last year, that’s why we’ve created even more things to do this Freshers’ Week. So if you’re a Fresher or a Fourth year – everyone is welcome!
*excludes Starfields events as this is not a Union run event.
> Golden Ticket Box Office:
Please pick up your Golden Ticket wristband on 4th or 6th September between 12 midday and 8:30pm at The Union Box Office. Only this fabric wristband worn on your wrist will gain you entry into Union North and Union events, you will also be asked for proof of ID.
> Resales and Refunds:
Please note your ticket may be resold if you are not at the Union North event before 7pm and The Union before midnight.
Refunds are at our discretion.
Event cancellation policy: If we need to cancel any of our Union North Freshers’ Week events due to adverse weather conditions your ticket will automatically gain you access to The Union on the same day (subject to building capacity).
Should national restrictions cause the cancellation of this event as a result of Government Guidance relating to Covid-19 we will make every effort to provide suitable compensation once irrecoverable expenses have been covered.
