Who are we?

St Andrews Socialist Worker Student Society is part of a network of revolutionary socialists across universities in Britain. Full of activists and campaigners, we are committed to building the struggles against oppression.

We believe all forms of oppression are either created or exacerbated by the capitalist system and that reform alone will not fix this.

On top of organising and supporting local demonstrations, we meet every week to discuss the crises of our time from a Marxist perspective and develop our political arguments.
 

What do we believe?

- We are anti-racists who take to the streets to fight the far-right in all its forms: welcome every refugee!
- We say Free Palestine from the river to the sea, and support a one state solution: down with Zionism!
- We will take the fight to Burnham and tell him to stop the cuts: welfare not warfare!
- We stand for trans+ liberation and say self-ID now: defy the Supreme Court and EHRC!
- We support an independent Scotland: break up the blood-soaked British state!
