Meet people, do stuff.
Sustainable Development

Learn about Sustainable Development and join discussions about inclusive solutions to global issues and meet people from all fields! You do not have to be taking the subject to join.

Hi! The Sustainable Development Society is an inclusive and dynamic group. Our aim is to discuss and raise awareness on global issues relating to Sustainable Development and potential solutions at all scales, or simply just speaking up our opinions and/or concerns in an open, safe space.

We do so by organising regular events from movie screenings to panel discussions and seminars with experts, picnics and clean-ups and other unique events which you can hear all about by joining our mailing list.

We host a wide range of students interested in different aspects of Sustainable Development including climate change, pollution, biodiversity, education, equality, sustainable consumption, and the list goes on; so, no matter your interest or if you're just curious to understand what Sustainable Development means to you and others, you're always welcome to join and try it out.

We are open to all students regardless of your knowledge or subject studied. Our membership is just £3 a year, which helps us fund our events or support our annual cause(s), and allows you to pay less-to-nothing to attend.

We always love to see new people passionate on getting involved, so please feel welcome to message us Facebook, Instagram or by email (sasdsoc@) and we will make sure to reply! You can also follow us on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or check our Youtube video! If you are still curious on finding out more or how to join, come meet us at the Fayre at the start of the academic year in September!
