Inklight (Creative Writing)

We put on events weekly including open mics and slam competitions, so that you can have a space to share your writing. We publish and print a creative journal per semester centered around a theme, which anyone is free to contribute to. Just keep an eye out for our call for submissions on social media.

We also believing in giving our members an opportunity to grow in their writing. Writing circles, editing workshops, and speaker events with authors and literary agents will help you to improve, as well as giving you dedicated time to write in an often-hectic university life. You'll also meet other amazing writers and share knowledge and inspiration!

Finally, writing can often seem lonely and solitary, especially for those embarking on longer projects. Our novelist network will help you stay accountable and introduce you to a supportive network of other like-minded people. If you fancy joining, just send us an email!
