Filmmakers

The Filmmakers’ Society provides opportunities for students to learn new skills and refine their techniques in the art of filmmaking! Whether you're an aspiring scriptwriter, have a yearning to direct, or are passionate behind the camera, through us you will be able to involve yourself in filmmaking scene of St Andrews.

For this to be possible, we provide our members with equipment, workshops, guidance and a community through which students of all levels of experience and specialty can come together. The Filmmakers’ Society of St. Andrews welcomes all filmmakers, novice or experienced!

  • Cameras, lights, sound, etc. available on request and approval for your own productions
• Limited to Candlemas Semester of the 25/26 year

Full Membership (25/26 Candlemas Semester, 26/27 Academic Year) - £30

• FULL Social Membership; access to everything included in the social membership, plus...
• Access to society gear rental system
  • Cameras, lights, sound, etc. available on request and approval for your own productions
• Includes the remainder of the current semester AND extends through the entirety of next academic year if you are a returning student
