President of Union Affairs and President of Education Address the Rector’s Dismissal from Court

“The real losers in today’s situation are students and while both sides continue to clash, students are being caught in the middle.

A significant amount of time, effort, and resources have been spent on this issue. The University should now spend its time prioritising improving students’ lives and addressing the ongoing financial crisis facing the university sector, something we are both so passionate about and working to resolve.

In the meantime, this is now the opportunity for the University to urgently address the gap that this has left in student representation on court and promise that this process will put the student voice in high regard moving forward.”
