► Societies Home
The Students' Association has over a hundred affiliated student societies, clubs and groups, covering almost every possible area of student life - activities, hobbies, nationalities, political affiliations, charities, fundraising, volunteering, entertainment and more. Every society is open to every single student and offers a range of activities throughout the year - to find something you're interested in, check the list of socs on the left.
We also have our 'subcommittees', or 'supersocieties' - the biggest and best clubs, where all students are automatically members. Featuring the Charities Campaign, Mermaids, Debating, Volunteering, MusFund, STAR, Design Team and the St Leonard's College Postgraduate Society, the Association gives out tens of thousands of pounds every year to give St Andrews students the widest range of activities possible.
In the unlikely event you can't find a society to fit a particular interest, we'll even help you to start it up - and fund it for you!
