Women in Business

We are the Women in Business Society; a group of women and non-binary individuals who are dedicated to helping promote gender equality in the male-dominated workforce. Our purpose is to foster an empowering community at the University of St Andrews and to further educate and prepare each other for a career in either the financial, legal, or public sectors.

Our core Aims as a society are as follows:

• WIB will create a strong network of like-minded, business-focused individuals that will remain influential for student’s life throughout and after university.
• WIB will provide opportunities and valuable experiences to prepare women and other gender minorities to enter the business workforce. These include networking, events, motivational speakers, and skill-based workshops.
• WIB will create a supportive community of women interested in business by uniting current professionals, current students and WIB alumni.
• WIB will be strictly focused on helping prepare individuals to enter the male-dominated business fields including law, the financial field, or the public sector.
