Cameron Smith is the School President of Divinity
I'm Cameron Boston Smith, a fourth year MTheol student, and the only person wild enough to put themselves forward for this role, so the chances are that if you have any problems or ideas about life in the Divinity department, I will jump at the chance to help you out. Our department is pretty relaxed, in my time here I never really noticed the work of the divinity president beyond weekly emails and finding folk to be class reps. Hopefully over the next year I'll be a little more visible and useful than my predecessors (I love you Josh Holloway, please don't be offended), and as I say I'm always keen for people to talk to about the greatest department in the kingdom of North East Fife.
I'll be aiming to send out regular emails with all the semi-relevant info you might want as a divinity student, and I'll be spending a lot of time in St Mary's library, trying to claw back my chances of getting a first. Hopefully I'll look enough like my picture that if you want to come talk to me in person you'll be able to find me without too much hassle. If you're looking for me, and I don't reply to an email or you don't want to email, then talk to Linda the librarian (if you don't know who she is, you shouldn't call yourself a divinity student) and she'll chase me down. You can hit me up on Facebook too if you feel the need or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
One of my goals for this year is to elevate the position of Divinity President to such a height that more than one person nominates themselves for it at the elections. So help me out, or I'll be stuck here forever.
