The Computer Science School President for 2019/20 is Seamus Bonner.

During my time at St Andrews the School of Computer Science has been integral to both my academic and social life. The school's vibrant and close-knit community is my favourite thing about university. Computer Science one of the only schools in which you'll get to know almost everyone, whether they be an undergrad, postgrad or even staff member! You'll always be able to find someone for advice, a chat or to split the cost on a deliveroo order.

As school president it's my job to ensure that the student body is being represented. I was elected last academic year to deliver a manifesto that I think would improve the student experience for computer science students. This includes an investigation into time spent on submissions, revision of the mentoring scheme and the creation of a better feedback loop between students and the school.

If you'd like to help with anything mentioned above, or you think something different should be done then get in touch with me (compscipresident@st-andrews.ac.uk). If you want to help me represent the school then be sure to run for election to be a class representative
