I'm Caroline, and I'm your Director of Student Development and Activities (DoSDA). dosda@st-andrews.ac.uk / @StADoSDA

Hello! My name is Caroline and I am your Director of Student Development and Activities (DoSDA). I was elected by the student body to oversee all the activities you can get involved in at St Andrews.

Student Activities

Put simply, I’m responsible for Societies, Subcommittees and all other affiliated activities - check them out in the Activities tab! I’m here to help these student groups in any way I can - be it through offering advice or offering general support.

There are literally hundreds of activities to get involved in at St Andrews. You can help organise On the Rocks Art Festival, taste the gastronomic delights of the Fine Food and Dining Society, hitchhike for charity with the Charities Campaign, go hillwalking with Breakaway or try your hand at Quidditch with Dumbledore’s Army.

Or why not join one of the numerous Academic & Education, Cultural & Faith, Arts, Media & Music, Political & Campaigning, Charitable, Humanitarian & Welfare, Fan & Geek, Activity & Recreation or Food & Drink societies?

There really is an amazing diversity of activities being organised and it is my job to help facilitate them.

Student Development

As well as coordinating student activities, I also oversee Student Development. In this capacity I work closely with various University departments such as CAPOD and the Careers Centre to work on employability issues and professional skills to make sure that you get the very best opportunities in the Bubble and beyond. I also  work with Admissions to promote student activities on Visiting Days.

Whatever you want to get involved with, I am here to help. If you have an idea, are looking for project funding, want to know how to get involved or just want a chat -  come in and say hello.

Feel free to pop me an email at dosda@st-andrews.ac.uk or call 01334 462700.
