The aim of the society is to teach children about health and healthcare through play and planned activities.
We are a volunteer society who organise visits to local schools where volunteer students teach children about healthy living and going to the doctors. The way we do this is through interactive games and activities, which often involve the children's teddies! This year we are planning a paediatric lecture series to be held in semester 2! We recently won runner up for the 'Town and Gown" award for our work within the community.
We are here solely for The University of St Andrews students. We
are here to make the student experience as strong as it can be,
provide services you need and to represent your views to the
University and beyond. We are a charity registered in Scotland and
we are mostly volunteers, from the members of the SRC and SSC to
the Ents Crew who run Union events, all the society committee
members to the Trustees of our Board.
