We are the St Andrews Adventure Group - a university society whose members have a passion for adventure and charity!
Welcome to the St Andrews Adventure Group! Founded back in 2007, our ethos has always been ’Adventures for Charity’.
Each year we have a flagship STAAG Challenge, with previous trips ranging from cycling the Silk Road across Asia to rickshawing down the coast of India. This year’s trip is Crossing Alaska: Hiking the Iditarod Trail!
We also run a number of smaller microadventures throughout the year, such as semi regular trips walking munros, spending a few days in Skye or our annual Canoe Across Scotland trip in spring break.
See our website for more details or join our mailing list to keep up to date!
We are here solely for The University of St Andrews students. We
are here to make the student experience as strong as it can be,
provide services you need and to represent your views to the
University and beyond. We are a charity registered in Scotland and
we are mostly volunteers, from the members of the SRC and SSC to
the Ents Crew who run Union events, all the society committee
members to the Trustees of our Board.
