Save the Elephants

The Save the Elephants Society is a new society at the University of St Andrews with the aim to support the conservation and protection of elephants worldwide by working alongside selected charities.
Elephants all around the world are at risk of death or abuse due to poaching, habitat destruction, human-animal conflict, and the tourist industry.
Our aim is to work with the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, which operates an orphan-elephant rescue and rehabilitation program in Kenya, and the Save Elephant Foundation, which is dedicated to protecting Asian elephants and runs several projects in South East Asia, including the Elephant Nature Park in Thailand, by fundraising and raising awareness of the problems elephants face around the world.
