The Guide Dog Society has close links with the NE Fife branch of the Guide Dogs For the Blind UK charity. We aim to promote awareness of the cause, raise funds to sponsor and name our own guide dog puppy, and of course get in plenty of puppy cuddles too. We hold events throughout the year both fundraisers and social events for our members. We accept new members at any point throughout the year - so it is never too late to get involved! If you want to get involved with the planning of events and overall running of the society you can join the committee (elections are held at the end of the year for next academic year) or the fundraising group (open to all). Alternatively if you'd prefer to be a social member and pop along to events to cuddle puppies thats fine too!
We are here solely for The University of St Andrews students. We
are here to make the student experience as strong as it can be,
provide services you need and to represent your views to the
University and beyond. We are a charity registered in Scotland and
we are mostly volunteers, from the members of the SRC and SSC to
the Ents Crew who run Union events, all the society committee
members to the Trustees of our Board.
