We have a load of good events coming up this semester including; Beach Cleans at our adopted beach - Bruce Embankment; moth trapping at the Botanical Gardens; conservation work at the beautiful Tentsmuir forest (you may see some of the local seal population!); continuing our work with the salt marsh restoration project in the Eden Estuary next to St. Andrews; David Attenborough documentary screenings and pizza nights; rockpooling on east sands; surveying wildlife and submitting our data to British-wide surveys. We also take trips out of St. Andrews including to the Cairngorms to visit the wildlife park, see deer herds and take wildlife walks and also to the Isle of May to see seals and sea-birds. There's all this and more going on at WildSoc so if any of this interests you email wildlifesoc@st-andrews.ac.uk and we will add you to the mailing list so you can find out when the next meeting is! And join our Facebook group: search Wildlife and Conservation Soc St Andrews. We are open to other suggestions for projects or visits.
