Model United Nations

Debating and simulation society that offers any and all students to come and discuss topics from Brexit to Star Wars. Enthusiastic, accepting and generally good chat!

The St. Andrews Model United Nations Society offers any and all (not just IR!) students the opportunity to simulate and debate international diplomacy using both real and fictitious events. Primarily, we host our own conference, SaintMUN, where we invite students from both universities nationally and internationally to debate topics in committees such as the United Nations Olympic Committee to crisis cabinet simulations of Alexander the Great and his Balkan Campaigns. We also encourage students to participate in our monthly debates where we discuss topics such as Brexit and even Star Wars.

With some experience or none, come join an interesting, enthusiastic, and fun group of students who are willing to have hearty debates about honestly any topic.
