GeogSoc is the University Geography Society. Whether you have a human or physical persuasion, are studying or simply interested in Geography, society events will provide you with opportunities to meet other enthusiastic geographers from first to final year. They will also give you the chance to meet staff members outside of lectures so you can really get involved in the department. We hold numerous events throughout the year including beach bonfires, round the world pub crawls, cheese and wines, pub quizzes, guest lectures and careers talks. The year is rounded off in style with our annual GeoBall which is not to be missed! There really is something for everyone so we hope to see you all soon!
We are here solely for The University of St Andrews students. We
are here to make the student experience as strong as it can be,
provide services you need and to represent your views to the
University and beyond. We are a charity registered in Scotland and
we are mostly volunteers, from the members of the SRC and SSC to
the Ents Crew who run Union events, all the society committee
members to the Trustees of our Board.
