Where are they?

The Union operates two cafés, one situated in the west-end of the main union building, and one on North Street, by the pedestrian crossing on the corner of Butts Wynd.

In both cafés we concentrate on good, simple food at reasonable prices.

What's the fuss?

By concentrating our efforts on a smaller menu, our chefs are able to bring you freshly made and delicious food every weekday. Our new range of £3.50 burgers (thicker and juicier than ever!) have flown off the shelves, while we also offer a wide variety of panini, baked potatoes, filled rolls (made specially by a local baker each morning) and many other sweet and savoury dishes

If you’re feeling thirsty, we also serve a comprehensive variety of chilled and hot drinks.

When are we open and why come.

The Union cafe is open weekdays 11am - 4pm, with extended opening hours for special sporting events. With loads of space, it's the perfect place to meet friends, grab a snack between lectures or enjoy a lazy afternoon with a burger, a pint and a game of pool. Please click on here to view our menu.

The North Street café is open weekdays 8am - 6pm and has a cosier, more traditional café-feel, with vaulted arches and wooden tables.  It can also be hired out for private functions and events. Please click here to view menu
