In the wake of the Scottish Government's decision to allow universities to charge students from the rest-of-the-UK (RUK) up to £9,000 a year in tuition fees, we have launched a campaign for fairness not fee hikes at St Andrews. We have until an emergency meeting on September 6th to convince the University Court that charging full fees would not be a good thing for the University or its students.
You can find the government's proposals and consultation documents here: http://www.scotland.gov.uk/Publications/2011/06/27091056/1

Finally, tell the Principal what you think about the possibility of RUK students paying £9,000 a year at St Andrews. You can write your own letter or use our template. Send these as an attachment to fairnessnotfeehikes@gmail.com and we will forward them on to the Principal.
